Clearly, the U.S. is anxious to provoke Russia in to war, promoting the (false) idea that Russia is the same old, Communist empire. On the contrary, Russia is a Republic just like the United States. Their only 'crime' in AmeriKa's eyes, is that they're expanding global trade partnerships, and have recently created a central bank with other BRICs member nations that competes with the U.S.-controlled IMF.
So, what's next for the Ukraine, and its illegally elected President, Petro Poroshenko?
Watch for Poroshenko to be abducted, tortured, and perhaps murdered in late summer 2014, and by his own 'crowd' of mafiosos, no less. If I were to pinpoint a time frame, I'd say this could occur by mid-September. He will be removed from office, but it will bring in a far worse crowd of U.S./Nazi radicals, who will dump chemical (perhaps nuke) weapons on the east in early 2015. Off course, the U.S. will blame...who else, but Russia!
It will take at least another YEAR for Russia to react, and eventually bring in (much welcomed) troops and arms in to the area. By 2016, eastern Ukraine is likely to be securely under Russian protection, with a well-trained and equipped military.
This is not to say that violence and the poverty and suffering that results from it will be over any time soon. It will take at least 80 years for the people of the Ukraine to recover and break free from this destructive trend.
On a broad scale, watch for an attempted assassination of Russia's Putin later this year (see my other postings for more detail).
